"Modern" Rifles for rent
[Rental prices below
cover the first 30 days.]
There have been a boatload of laws passed during the past decade
that have made the availability of replicas of modern (post 1880's) firearms
ever tighter. Certain cities and states have restrictions on who can receive
modern replicas, even non-firing ones.

K24 - MAUSER - bolt action rifle used
since 1885 until past WWII with slight modifications. 49". work/prop [$ 72.00]
K23 - ENFIELD No 4 Mark 1 - used especially by British forces during the
two World Wars. Also known as the Lee-Enfield and as the SMLE. 44". work/prop
[$ 72.00]
K26 - SPRINGFIELD PARADE RIFLE - just a wooden stock and a rudimentary
bolt action, but if your show cant afford the others above, this is a huge
savings. 3 lbs, 42 " long work/prop [$ 8.00]
K25 -
BOLT-ACTION CARBINE - the word comes from carabini, a mounted musketeer, who
needed a weapon shorter than the heavy traditional musket. So carbine now means
any rifle shorter than what the manufacturer considers "standard". work/prop [$ 72.00]
K12 - MOSSBERG RIFLE light weight rifle, looks pretty good, 40", no moving parts. prop [$ 15.60]

K18 - PLINKING RIFLE very light
semi-automatic sporting rifle [the kind of thing to shot tin cans with], or even
a child's rifle. 35", no moving parts, and we only have one of these. prop [$
24.00]
G81 - WAGONMASTER
Although also shown on our "longarms" page because it was first developed in the
1870's the style has still remained popular among casual hunters, especially in
the American West. work/prop [$ 40.00]
Automatic Rifles
Our replica assault weapons are not capable of automatic fire.
Of those that can fire, one shot only per each pull of the trigger. Nine shots
before reloading
("what kind of
blanks
do I need?")
K40 - THOMPSON SUB-MACHINE GUN - also known as the Tommy Gun.
This is a strongly built, steel and wood replica. The firing version can only
fire in semi-auto, not fully automatic.
Did you know that... it was the first
practical US military machine gun, but was of only random lethality? The stock is
angled down against the shoulder, so as the gun fired, the recoil forces drove
the barrel up, so bullets would spray as much into the ceiling as across a room.
prop/non-firing [$ 60.00]
blank-fire [$ 98.00]
only fires nine shots in semi-auto format - you can't get a
"rat-a-tat-a-tat"
By the way, only a dismantled Tommy gun could be carried in a viola case,
and never in that of a violin. So what to do for "Anything Goes"?
Here's what we have :
Z92
- A modern, and modified, high impact plastic viola case with a replica Tommy gun
permanently built into it. [$
70.00]
K55 - STEYER SOLOTHURN - designed in Austria for WWII, extremely well-made, and was
purchased by dozens of countries, but always in small quantities due to its high
price. We only have two of these. prop only [$ 36.00]
K44 SCHMEISSER -
actually called the MP-40, it was the quintessential German submachine gun of
WWII. As the Allied forces were issued the heavy and cumbersome Tommy Gun, many US
soldiers preferred to ditch the Thompson if they could get their hands on
a Schmeisser. Removable clip. work/prop [$ 44.00]

K41 - FIRING AIR BOURNE - the AXIS powers in WWII commissioned dozens of weapons
from a host of arms manufacturers. Sub-machine guns saw more use toward the end
of the war but even early on they were standard issue for paratroopers. 22
cal. blank-fire [$ 52.50]
K43 STEN Mk III -
thousands of these "cheap and nasty" sub-machine guns were made by the British
for their own use against the Germans, and were parachuted in by the crate-load
to partisan fighters throughout Europe. Still found in use throughout the world.
An interesting look since, instead of a fore grip, the left hand merely hangs
onto the bullet clip, which is mounted horizontally. Removable clip, very sturdy and
comes with strap. work/prop [$ 39.60]

K53 - CZ-24 - used by the Czech army from 1948 through
1965, tons were also exported to a score of countries, and still pop-up in
large quantities on the black market. Shown with and without the removable
shoulder stock. Can be used with a strap. The basic layout was copied for the
Israeli Uzi. work/prop [$ 49.00]
K60-5 - AK-47 [Zhekov] -
imitated throughout the world, the Army Kalashnikov [AK] model 47 rifle has been
called the most successful weapon ever designed. Full steel and wood, with working bolt, this is a
Czechoslovakian AK, extremely sturdy and can be fitted with a strap and even a
bayonet. work/prop [$ 83.00]
K60-7 - AK-47
firing -This
version, actually
a larger than life replica, can fire in semi-automatic mode up to nine shots as
quickly as the trigger can be pulled, but fully automatic fire is not possible. 22
cal.
blank-fire [$ 95.13]
K60-6
- AK-47-DESTROYED - Just for fun, as though it has been run over by a tank
(for a production of Afghan Women). prop [$ 23.00]
K90 - M-16 Blank-Fire - Designed in 1958, it was first issued to US forces
in Vietnam in 1966, and has been the standard American military rifle ever
since, but still rather infamous for its tendency to jam in critical situations. Just as with all of the firing replicas we carry,
this specimen can fire in semi-automatic mode up to nine shots as quickly as the
trigger can be pulled, but fully automatic fire is not possible. .. and we
only have one of these. [We have discontinued all
non-firing M-16's from our stock]
22
cal.
blank-fire [$
101.25]
K80 - TYPE 47 - LIGHT INFANTRY
Blank-Fire -semi-auto - 9 shots - 22
cal. blank-fire [$
95.75]
K65 - HMG Anti-Personnel Machine Gun - is 43" in length. Two starter
pistols inside provide semi-auto fire. This is a generic fantasy piece. You
wont find it in any firearms catalogue, but then again it can fit a wider time
line. Comes with either a lay-down tri-pod which raises the gun to 18", or a
kneeling tri-pod which can bring the gun up to 4 feet high.
22
cal. blank-fire or prop with cartridge belt and box [$ 182.11] ;
if just the gun and stand [$ 149.71]
K67 -
HOTCHKISS Machine Gun - is 49" in length. This is a heavy piece to hold but
sure has a "Rambo"- like look.
prop only [$ 79.00]
K75 - BULL PUP LA-85 - a British Army design. Moving the ammo clip to
behind the grip means that it has the long barrel of the M16 with the short
overall length of the UZI. The infantry weapon of the future. Cannot be used
with straps. prop/fragile [$ 40.00] [want
to buy one instead? We're selling them for only $99 each !!

the Attic ]
K76
- IRAQ - We took the Bull Pup above and
modified it so that it could have some of the look of a modern infantry sniper
rifle. Cannot be used
with straps. prop/fragile [$ 46.00]
K72-5 INGRAHM
(MAC) 12 (fantasy) [extremely limited availability] just a lot of
fun and it even fires blanks. 22 cal. blank-fire
[58.20]
