DAGGERS and KNIVES for rent

These special knives can give a wonderful look to many period productions. either as fighting weapons or beautiful dress props. Blade length is from tip to guard, and combat blades come in various widths and lengths, determined by the fight needs. We suggest a thin poniard blade if it is to engage an epee bladed rapier. Also, be sure to look at the trim-small hilt styles section: most sword guards can be used as daggers at your request, just as some of these dagger hilts can be fitted with sword blades.

Retractable daggers - We don’t carry them. We never will. If you have one, we suggest you throw it away. Today. Did you know that ... anyone who insists that retractable daggers are safe is either ignorant or a fool? The blade can press against the inside of the handle and jam without warning, leading the actor to be impaled by a blunt shaft. It happens every year. Collapsed lungs, severed veins. Well, as of today, you are no longer ignorant.

Here is how we divide our knives:

	Daggers : Generally double edged knives whose primary purpose is to stab someone. Most of the stage combat daggers are found here, but be sure to take a look at the other sections as well
	Knives : small knives, curved knives, new knives, old knives. Some costume, some fight-ready
	Bayonets : also included here are the strictly military knives of the last century.
